Overview:
This is an excellent career opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager with proven project management experience to join a leading designer and producer of robotic & packaging solutions, which supplies high-performance robotic automation to Pharma, Life Science & Food markets across an increasingly growing international customer base. The company enables its customers to significantly increase their efficiency and thus their competitiveness. As Project Manager, reporting to the Technical Director, you’ll lead the project management of the building & commissioning of automation solutions and full lines projects, from the customers signing an order to installing the solution at their plant. You will be responsible for the project management of the project including fabrication, building, programming, electric wiring and commissioning. Part of the project management role will include professional relationships with customers, updating them on projects, collating requests, and maintaining commercial awareness.

Responsibilities will include:
* Project managing complex projects & installation in different regions of the country or abroad, and developing progress / final reports internally and for customers.
* Project Managing design, fabrication, build, electrical wiring and software teams to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
* Obtain customer feedback proactively throughout the project timeline, address customer enquiries and resolve issues (for example changes to the design).
* Managing clients’ expectations.
* Scheduling periodically client meetings - status calls.
* Schedule, participate and attend Kick-Off Meetings.
* Project Managing the FAT & SAT for the solutions, ensuring 100% compliance with User Requirements.
* Make sure all documentation for solutions is correct according to specification.
* Demonstrate outstanding customer service through maintaining a high-quality work environment.
* Make sure correct hours are followed and correctly logged onto the ERP system.
* Manage budgets to prevent overruns.
* Develop and manage Project Plans for example leading the GANTT process.
* Manage the supply and delivery of customer samples required for testing purposes.
* Managing action tracker.
Experience:
* Five or more years in the Pharma and Food Industry would be preferential and experience in the automation and machine building industry with technical systems installations is an advantage too.
* Experience of project managing complex projects.
* Customer/Client relationship management experience. Demonstrated success in driving customer satisfaction and quality.
* Proficient in communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing.
* Accepts ownership, is accountable and delivers on commitments.
* Experience prioritising and managing multiple tasks/issues simultaneously, detail-oriented.
* Strong influencing and negotiating skills when dealing with clients.
* Strong project management skills with commercial awareness.
* Flexibility and resilience, including the ability to adapt to changing/uncertain conditions.
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally with notice.
* Experience of using an ERP system for planning and reporting.
* Troubleshooting skills.
Education:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not essential
* Certificate of training in project management or similar
* Experience in lean management is an added advantage
