Job Title: Project Development Manager

Location: Dublin - hybrid

Role and Responsibilities:

* Lead and guide project teams from early development through to construction.
* Prioritize safety by implementing and overseeing the project's safety management strategy.
* Ensure projects are delivered effectively, adhering to rigorous project management standards that meet all technical, commercial, legal, and program requirements.
* Evaluate and develop new business opportunities, including brownfield/greenfield sites, new technologies, and acquisitions.
* Continuously assess, report, and manage project risks in line with established governance systems.
* Provide regular updates to management and relevant project boards.
* Stay informed on industry trends that may impact project decisions, ensuring this knowledge is integrated into the process.

Key Skills and Experience:

Essential:

* At least 7 years of relevant experience.
* Proven track record in delivering projects and driving new business development, particularly in managing the development of energy generation or storage projects.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
* Engineering degree or equivalent.

Desirable:

* Familiarity with energy generation technologies and experience working with them.
* Understanding of the energy market and regulatory frameworks in Ireland and the UK.
* Knowledge of procurement processes.
* Financial skills to evaluate project returns and profitability.
* Project management qualification and/or other business management qualifications that may compliment the essential/desirable knowledge, skills and experience listed above.
