Project Manager

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee a large school project in South County Dublin for a reputable mid-sized main building contractor. The ideal candidate should have worked on schools projects previously and have dealt with the Department of Education . This project is just starting and our client has a strong pipeline of projects in this area.

Responsibilities:

* Assume complete accountability for the successful delivery of multiple projects.
* Manage projects throughout all stages, from specification development and procurement to design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
* Foster positive relationships with the design team, subcontractors, utilities, adjoining owners, neighbours, and local authorities' representatives.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including the commercial, finance, and technical departments.
* Ensure the flawless execution of internal fit-out works, including snagging, de-snagging, and lock-up protocols, up to the completion of the build.

Requirements:

* Hold a degree qualification.
* Preferred experience in the School/Department of Education domain.
* Familiarity with modular construction methods is a plus.
* Previous track record of successfully delivering large-scale building projects as a main contractor.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience as a main contractor in the UK or Ireland.

Package:

* Salary range: Approximately €90k-€100k
* Company pension plan.
* Company vehicle or car allowance.
