Job description As a Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in our mission to build future-proof networks that empower our clients, businesses, and communities alike.
Entegro are seeking an experienced Project Manager in the Telecommunications industry who will enhance our existing project team. Working from our Kilkenny office, this candidate must have a background in the telecoms industry, as you will be responsible for the management, project controls and integration of teams required to deliver our FTTH projects.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the delivery of a Project from a program delivery, peer client liaison, process & controls, support, cost management and administration perspective. Work with your manager to put the necessary controls and project support team in place to deliver the project allocated successfully. Manage Day to Day cohesion required within the project, working cross-functionally between the different operational disciplines e.g. Design, Operations Disciplines, HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality), Streetworks (Road Licencing) Planning & Commercials. Understand fully, the operational delivery model of the project to a depth, that helps you and your team in how they support the operational teams in how the project program is created and managed. Continuously review processes with the team and manage the implementation of improvements if opportunities for improvement are identified. Work with operational and own teams to understand KPI’s and ensure that resource is fully utilised. Forecast, plan, track and manage the project(s), ensuring delivery is on schedule and work with aligning program to meet operational teams requirements. Lead the delivery of the project through your exceptional client and internal stakeholder management. Be key stakeholder in continuously monitoring the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities & Threats of the project. Analyse key project delivery metrics and identify and work with operational disciplines to remove any internal or client risks arising from this review. Meet Daily, Weekly & Monthly project reporting requirements on key rollout items as well as updating and maintenance of all trackers, registers (RAID) and record systems. Manage the Project Delivery Support Team on the project, that supports contract/operations and design teams in the delivery of client contracts e.g., Program, Coordination, Works Planning & Control, Local Authority, licensing, Permitting and Administration. Proactively work with the team and lead the resolution of any client specific delivery issues. Ensure that change management on the project is tracked and managed in an adequate manner. Support in the Management of the budget, track revenue and costs and generate necessary reports. Track cost management and performance across all disciplines of the project.
Skills required
2+ years in a similar position PRINCE2 Practitioner - PMI Skilled in FTTX networks Previous experience of managing field-based teams and subcontractors. Previous experience in delivering programs with operational / deployment milestones achieved. Flexible and adaptable to work challenges and open to learn and develop skills. Ability to multi-task and work to a high standard A high standard of written and spoken English. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team. Willingness to travel as required. Full drivers’ licence. Proficient in Microsoft software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)
