About the Opportunity

Johnson and Johnson Medtech Neurovascular is seeking a Research Project Manager to lead a critical research team focused on deepening the understanding of stroke and improving treatments in neurovascular care. This role is based in Galway, Ireland and offers a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute research projects to inform medical device development and enhance understanding of neurovascular disease states.
  • Lead a team of 4-5 individuals conducting research internally or using external sources.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand unmet needs and provide meaningful output for product development.
  • Responsible for project management, ensuring timelines, activities, and budgets are met.
  • Generate internal reports for R&D submissions and ensure compliance with regulations.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in scientific research and project management. Education requirements include a PhD or Research Masters in an Engineering or Science discipline, or a Medical Degree.

Eligibility

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical device industry or similar environment, with 3 years of relevant postgraduate research experience. Excellent communication skills and a proven track record in scientific research are essential.
