About the Opportunity
Automation Project Manager – Dublin – Long-term Contract – Pharmaceutical
Our client operates a state-of-the-art aseptic drug product facility in Dun Laoghaire, specialising in Formulation, Vial/Syringe Filling, Lyophilisation, and Packaging.
Responsibilities
- Provide automation project leadership, setting priorities, managing risks, and delivering regular project status updates.
- Take overall responsibility for Safety, Cost, Schedule, and Quality across all project phases.
- Develop, manage, and report on project budgets and timelines.
- Manage and execute all project activities, including prioritisation, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure optimal technical and business outcomes.
- Identify and resolve project issues promptly, leveraging available resources effectively.
- Manage third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure cost control and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the development and management of change controls in a regulated environment.
About You
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 8+ years’ engineering experience within the Pharma or Life Sciences industry.
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record leading large-scale automation projects in regulated environments.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing and presentation abilities.
