About the Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join a leading international financial services provider in Dublin. This role will play a pivotal part in driving transformation and IT initiatives across the business, with a strong focus on collaboration between Dublin and French headquarters. The successful candidate will be fluent in French and comfortable in creating their own operating road-map – someone who can take ownership, manage projects end-to-end, and act as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Responsibilities
- Programme & Project Management
- Deliver transformation projects covering new insurance regulations, business development, IT infrastructure upgrades, and cloud migration (M365, Azure).
- Manage the full project lifecycle (initiation → delivery), ensuring governance, documentation, risk/issue management, and stakeholder reporting.
- Lead cross-functional teams across departments and time zones, ensuring clear deliverables and timelines are met.
- Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches depending on project needs.
- Drive testing strategy, change management, and user adoption.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Act as the main liaison with IT group providers, security, risk, and legal teams, ensuring alignment with group policies and objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with French headquarters, engaging with committees and leadership teams.
- Cultivate trust with internal business stakeholders, challenging and guiding project teams where needed.
- Budget Oversight
- Support and oversee IT budget planning, monitoring spend, and coordinating with headquarters.
- Prepare reports and insights for internal and executive committees, highlighting risks, opportunities, and forecasts.
About You
Candidate Profile:
- Third-level qualification in Business, IT, or a related discipline.
- Professional Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent).
- Fluency in French and English (essential).
- Experience delivering transformation/IT projects with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on capacity, building processes in environments with less mature project frameworks.
