Job Description

Aviva is seeking an experienced Risk & Regulatory Change Portfolio Manager to join the Change & Transformation team on a 24-month fixed term contract as part of Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland (ALPI).
The Risk & Regulatory Change Portfolio Manager will ensure the safe and consistent delivery of all the risk and regulatory change facing the business, making up the risk and regulatory change sub-portfolio, including adequate resourcing, stakeholder management, compliance and handover to BAU right across the sub-portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities:Oversee key governance forums, including Steering Committees and working groups, ensuring efficient preparation, facilitation, and follow-up.Leading the risk and regulatory sub-portfolio team, consisting of the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Analysts, and Project Managers, to ensure the safe delivery of risk and regulatory change.Ensure all change programmes comply with the Aviva Change Framework (ACF), including the maintenance of quality contracts and adherence to reporting standards.Oversee portfolio-level analysis and prioritisation, ensuring initiatives align with strategic objectives and deliver maximum value.Develop a deep understanding of the pipeline of risk and regulatory change facing the ALPI business to ensure forward planning to understand the impact and size of this change.

Skills & Experience:Proven experience in portfolio, programme, or project management within large-scale transformation environments.Strong understanding of governance frameworks, reporting standards, and portfolio-level oversight.Experience delivering and overseeing risk and regulatory change.Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and work with senior stakeholders, including Risk, Legal, ExCo, Board, and the Regulator.Expertise in producing high-quality reports and presentations tailored to Executive and Board-level audiences.Familiarity with compliance and audit requirements for large-scale change programmes.
