A leading organization is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee critical modernization projects. This 6-month contract role, based in Citywest, Dublin 24, offers the possibility of extension up to three times. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering key initiatives.
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders, to drive project success and align deliverables with organizational goals.

Validate business needs and project objectives, ensuring alignment among key stakeholders.Develop detailed project plans for priority and ongoing projects to meet agreed delivery schedules.Set project budgets and identify additional resources necessary for project delivery.Develop schedules and methods for measuring results and associated metrics.Guide and perform strategic analysis for the projects.Assemble and coordinate project team members, assigning individual responsibilities.Prepare requests for proposals and conduct necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products.Plan and oversee project communications to all stakeholders.Secure approval for project release plans and manage projects from initiation to handover to production.Liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Identify project prerequisites, dependencies, constraints, risks, and critical paths, managing these proactively.
Key Requirements:
10+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions.Experience with technologies such as Java, Angular or similar, Webservices (SOAP, REST with JSON), Databases (SQL Server, MySQL), ETL (SSIS), Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), Tomcat, DNN, and Azure DevOps.Proficiency in quality assurance across various test cycles.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage customer relationships through strong governance.Experience in forecasting and project budgeting, analyzing variances, scheduling expenditures, and implementing corrective actions.Ability to manage partners and third-party vendors to meet committed project deliverables.Full clean driving license required.C2 English language proficiency required.
