Are you an experienced IT Project Manager looking for your next career opportunity? Barden is delighted to have been engaged by a leading multinational business in Cork, with significant local and global operations, to identify a Senior IT Project Manager to join their Procurement function and play an integral role in their digital transformation journey. This permanent hybrid role is based in Cork and offers ample opportunities for career advancement within one of the largest PMOs in the area.

Global Procurement is undergoing significant digital transformation, and this role will be pivotal in leading key initiatives, including ERP implementation (specifically SAP Ariba) and other system enhancements. Reporting under the Technology, Projects & Change pillar, you will implement and enforce Procurement PMO processes and procedures to ensure project success and alignment with strategic goals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

* Lead and manage projects within the Procurement function, focusing on ERP implementation (specifically SAP Ariba) and other system enhancements.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
* Define project scope and objectives, engaging relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
* Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders and third parties/vendors.
* Perform risk management to minimize potential risks.
* Delegate project tasks based on team members' strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
* Track project performance to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
* Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

* Strong project management experience in both large-scale and small-scale projects, with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Certification in Prince2 or PMP is desired. Expertise in structured business process analysis and translating business needs into project requirements.
* Proven experience in ERP implementation projects, specifically SAP Ariba.
* Change management expertise, adept at driving organizational change in ambiguous environments.
* Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
* Ability to identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation.
