Role Summary:

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to play a key role in managing existing client portfolios and driving new business opportunities. Reporting to the Director of Stockbroking, this role emphasizes client-centricity, relationship building, and collaboration with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and nurture long-term client relationships aligned with the investment strategy and market view.
* Provide comprehensive wealth management advice to existing clients, focusing on Retirement Planning, Pensions, and overall Wealth Management.
* Strategize and execute plans to generate new business opportunities, both from existing clients and professional service firm relationships.
* Manage all service requirements for private, corporate, and institutional clients.
* Explore and generate wider revenue streams through existing relationships via our Dublin-based financial services team.
* Facilitate cross-selling of product delivery capabilities, including pensions, structured life products, and various investment funds.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain high competency levels for services offered and products sold.
* Participate in technical and other training courses, contributing to the enhancement of company procedures and service standards.
* Assist in presentations to new business leads and current clients, covering a diverse range of product offerings, investment philosophy, and market views.
* Create an annual business plan, including relationship plans, fee growth targets, and assets under management goals.
* Proactively engage with clients through social events, sporting activities, and investment seminars.

Skills & Competencies:

* Strong understanding of investment markets and portfolio management, covering Equities, Bonds, ETFs, REITs, Trusts, Multi-Asset Funds, Private Equity, Unquoted assets, Loan Notes, and Pensions.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong presentation skills with keen attention to detail.
* Initiative and teamwork are essential.
* High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Requirements:

* Degree in Business/Finance studies.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
* Meet Central Bank requirements for Minimum Competency and Fitness and Probity, including QFA, Registered Stockbroker, APA (Savings & Investments).
