Programme Lead – Infrastructure Project

Responsibilities

• Lead complex infrastructure outsourcing initiatives from planning through to execution and service handover.
• Define and manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Engage with key internal stakeholders and external service providers to manage contractual, operational, and technical aspects of the outsourcing arrangement.
• Coordinate resource planning, risk management, and change control throughout the programme.
• Establish governance frameworks to monitor performance, service levels, and compliance during transition.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and service continuity during migration to third-party providers.
• Drive project reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage dependencies between technology, operations, and vendor teams.

About You

Experience Required:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in project/programme management with at least 5 years in large infrastructure outsourcing projects.

Extensive experience delivering complex IT outsourcing or managed service projects.

Strong commercial and vendor management skills with proven experience negotiating with third-party service providers.

Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments including data centres, network, storage, and cloud migration.

Good knowledge of VDI related solutions for Data Access.

Desirable Skills:

Familiarity with ITIL-based service transition and service management models.

Experience in highly regulated or large-scale multinational environments.

Exposure to legal, compliance, and risk considerations related to outsourcing.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Project management certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) are highly advantageous.
