The Project Manager shall have responsibility for supporting the Delivery Director in the overall execution of the projects delivery, bringing the necessary project management skills and experience that will integrate with the existing Project Team to ensure that the Directorate team plans, tracks and delivers against the programme and budget.
The role holder will provide support in the management of significant work packages/ elements of project to the defined time, cost, quality and outputs' benefits, including the coordination of the activities of all functions in relation to the delivery of major project within the timeline and costs as set out in the Preliminary Business Case.
10+ years' project management experience with a proven track record in high value transportation projects or similar infrastructure projects. Experience in cost management, driving best practices, and dealing with stakeholders. Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices.
BEng / BA / BSc in a related discipline. Degree / certification in system integration and assurance advantageous.
