BenBau is an international construction company with Irish roots that specializes in concrete and data centres construction works in Germany, Denmark and Sweden. We are currently searching for an experienced Project Director with relevant experience in construction, especially for concrete works, to join our team in Sweden/Finland. Our diverse and multinational team has workers from Romania, Germany, Poland, Sweden, and many other countries. Job Title: Project Director – ConstructionLocation: Sweden/Finland (relocation) Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee the management, negotiation, and execution of construction contracts, with a focus on HSE compliance, commercial, quality, and timeline management for our projects in Finland, starting initially in Sweden. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction contract management, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of both local and international construction laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.Lead project teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment with project objectives.Manage budgets, schedules, and resources to meet project goals.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors.Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring quality control. Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale construction projects.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies and regulatory requirements (in Finland).Proficiency in project management tools.Fluency in English; knowledge of Finnish or another language is a plus Benefits:Competitive salary package, commensurate with your skills and experience.25 days paid vacation per yearA permanent positionAn international and diverse team
