Senior Project Manager - Traffic Management System Day Rate Contract ¦¦ On-site visits to Dublin€600 - €700 DOE
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a complex Traffic Management System (TMS).
This position involves managing the implementation, testing, and commissioning of the TMS, ensuring safety, operational readiness, and timely delivery. The position will play a critical part in integrating the system into an existing network, with phased commissioning and multiple software releases.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading software development projects in Traffic Management Systems, a strong project management background, and the ability to simplify complex issues to drive resolution. This is an intensive, hands-on role requiring pragmatic problem-solving, collaboration with a diverse team, and a focus on minimizing delays and achieving key milestones.
Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day delivery, addressing issues, and ensuring progress against the project timeline.Oversee testing, commissioning, and approvals, ensuring safety and operational standards are met.Coordinate phased commissioning of software releases, targeting minimal viable product milestones.Lead a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and contractors.Streamline communication, focus on priority issues, and develop alternative solutions when necessary.
Requirements:Experience delivering large-scale software projects in traffic management systems or similar.Strong project management skills, with a focus on achieving results under tight deadlines.Ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.Hands-on, pragmatic approach to issue resolution and delivery progress.Systems engineering background with a track record of successful system implementation.
This role offers flexibility, including hybrid/ remote with onsite Dublin visits, and the opportunity to join a high-profile project in a critical phase. Immediate start preferred.
Day Rate Available: €600 - €700 DOE
