Project Manager

AA Euro Group has been retained by a leading construction firm based in Cork to find an experienced Project Manager for Cork projects. This company specialises in delivering high-quality pharma, commercial, and mixed-use projects. They are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their dynamic team to lead a high-profile pharma project in South Cork.
The Role:Oversee the end-to-end delivery of residential construction projects, ensuring completion on time, within scope, and on budget.Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resources. Coordinate activities across design, engineering, and construction teams.Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.Monitor project budgets, manage expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.Identify and mitigate project risks, resolve issues promptly, and implement contingency plans as needed.Provide regular updates to senior management and clients, preparing progress reports, financial summaries, and project reviews.
Requirements:Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on building/pharma/industrial projects.Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contracts (e.g., RIAI, FIDIC), and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is advantageous.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead teams and present to stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative working environment.
