Technical Project Manager

This position will focus on guiding and coordinating multiskill teams (devops, back-end dev, front-end dev, tester, etc..) using agile metholodogies where applicable from inception to completion of our projects, ensuring that our clients receive what they need in time and with the quality level they expect from us.
The ability to work and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment is essential since this person will be the main point of contact between clients and developers and as such he will be responsible for mediating and coordinating clients’ needs.
Proven experience with key Open Source GIS technologies as well as with core GIS concepts is essential in order to be able to have a real impact on the teams and project coordinated.

Qualifications are as follows:5+ years in technical project managementFluent in EnglishFamiliarity with issue management systems and Agile Work MethodologiesGood Knowledge of most important OGC specifications and concepts (WMS, WFS, WCS, coverage, etc…)Proven experience in working as a developer/project manager in projects based on at least one product between GeoServer, GeoNode, MapStore, GeoNetwork, MapServer, QGIS-Server, QGIS is a strict requirementBeing fluent in Italian is a plus
We offer a variety of contracts but, please, notice that our intention is to establish a long term relationship. The ideal candidate should work from a timezone between GMT-1 and GMT+1 and should currently reside in the EU with a valid work permit.
