Senior Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Implementation
Job Description:A large multinational organisation is undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA implementation and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and drive the successful delivery of this transformation programme.
Job Responsibilities:Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of SAP S/4HANA, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.Define project plans, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.Collaborate with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Oversee risk management, issue resolution, and change management throughout the implementation lifecycle.Ensure governance and best practices are adhered to during the SAP S/4HANA rollout.Manage stakeholder communication and reporting at all levels of the organisation.Drive process improvement and ensure business readiness for the new system implementation.
Experience Required:Minimum 10+ years of project management experience within large-scale ERP implementations.Must have a proven track record of delivering SAP S/4HANA projects.Strong experience in stakeholder management, governance, and risk mitigation.Expertise in managing third-party vendors and SI partners.Experience in complex, multi-country, or multinational project environments.
Desirable Skills:Experience working in a regulated industry (Finance, Manufacturing, Pharma, etc.).Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification preferred.
Educational Requirements:Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field.Additional project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) are an advantage.
Contract Details:Location: Dublin (Hybrid options may be available).Duration: 2-year contract.
