Purpose of the role:
To lead the planning and oversee the delivery of complex and critical strategic projects within the Strategy & Transformation Operations department of HBX Group, ensuring alignment with annual priorities, goals, and the overall strategic direction of the organization. This role plays a critical part in enabling HBX Operations to achieve its strategic objectives and deliver value to the business through the successful execution of transformative projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Drive successful project execution by:Defining clear project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.Developing and managing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.Tracking progress against planned activities, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.Implement change management processes to address scope adjustments and unforeseen challenges.Delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations in terms of quality, timeliness, and business impact.
2. Lead and influence cross-functional teams by:Building strong relationships with stakeholders across different departments and levels of the organization.Effectively communicating project goals, updates, and challenges to ensure transparency and alignment.Facilitating collaborative decision-making and problem-solving sessions to address roadblocks and drive consensus.Motivating and empowering team members to contribute their expertise and achieve shared objectives.Mentoring and developing project team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
3. Champion transformation by:Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness through process optimization, technology implementation, and organizational design.Leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions that address business challenges and drive strategic goals.Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and change within HBX Operations.Staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in project management and operational transformation.
4. Provide proactive communication and transparency by:Establishing clear communication channels and protocols for project updates, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.Preparing and delivering concise and informative presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.Proactively communicating potential risks, issues, and challenges, along with proposed mitigation strategies.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including status reports, risk registers, and issue logs.Utilizing data and metrics to track project performance and demonstrate the value and impact of delivered solutions.

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management, with at least 1 year in a senior role leading strategic projectsDemonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholdersExperience in operational transformation initiatives is a plusExperience with Agile project management methodologies is beneficial
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related fieldProject Management Professional (PMP) certification, Agile or equivalent is highly desirableProven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and timelineExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentKnowledge of operational processes and best practices in relevant industries
