Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Payments Project Manager to lead critical payment-related initiatives for a financial services client. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in payment schemes and systems (e.g., BACS, SWIFT, SEPA) and possess a proven track record of delivering payment projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and deliver payment system projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Manage project schedules, risks, budgets, and resources effectively.Lead cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and testers.Ensure clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed.Drive the adoption of best practices in project management and delivery.Essential Skills and Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the financial services sector.Strong knowledge of payments systems and schemes (e.g., BACS, SWIFT, SEPA).Demonstrable experience delivering complex payment-related projects.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, or equivalent).Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).A relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.What’s on Offer:A high-impact role within a fast-paced financial services environment.Opportunity to lead transformative payment initiatives.Competitive daily rate contract.Hybrid working model based in Dublin.
