About the Opportunity
As part of an exciting company expansion project, Designer Group is seeking a Project Director (Electrical) to join our Operations team in our data centre business. The Project Director will provide leadership to project operations across various contracts in Europe, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, high-quality standards, and exceeding client expectations. This role involves managing senior project personnel and delivering contracts under your control.

Key Operational Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Designer Group Quality, Safety, Environmental systems, policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Lead the operational delivery of DC Projects in Europe.
- Develop and manage procurement strategies, schedules, subcontract/order packages, technical submittals, and contractor design deliverables.
- Oversee planning, programming, forecasting, reporting, cost control, budgeting, value engineering, and financial performance of projects.
- Supervise labour, materials, plant movement, site operations, and resource planning.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
- Manage project variations, monthly valuations, commercial reporting, and successful project closeout.
- Attend and lead project/design/progress meetings.

- Strong organisational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communicator with strong presentation and influencing skills.
- Confident interacting and building professional relationships with all levels of staff.
- Responsible, proactive, and positive with a strong “can do” attitude.
Qualifications
Electrical Related HNC, Degree, or equivalent.
