Chief Business Officer (Fruits Ingredients Manufacturer)

We are seeking a Chief Business Officer (CBO) to be a key member of the executive leadership team.
You will drive revenue growth and market expansion and lead all aspects of thecompany's commercial operations - including Sales, Marketing, and Business Developmentacross all categories. You will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve ambitiousrevenue targets, build strong customer relationships, and solidify the company's position as aleading player in the fruit ingredients market.
This role reports to the CEO.
Responsibilities:Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:
▪ Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies toachieve aggressive revenue targets.▪ Identify and pursue new market opportunities, including new productlines, geographies, and customer segments.▪ Lead the development and execution of go-to-market plans for newproduct launches.▪ Oversee all sales and marketing activities, including lead generation,customer acquisition, and customer retention.
Customer Relationship Management:▪ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including C-level executives.▪ Understand customer needs and translate them into innovative productand service offerings.▪ Proactively identify and address customer challenges and concerns.▪ Foster a customer-centric culture across the organization.
Team Leadership & Development:▪ Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.▪ Recruit, hire, and onboard top talent.▪ Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback.▪ Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:▪ Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends andopportunities.▪ Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices.▪ Leverage data and insights to inform strategic decision-making.
Financial Performance:▪ Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget across the product categories ▪ Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towardsgoals.▪ Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and optimizeresource allocations
Qualifications:•MUST: Experience with any of the following categories: Flavours, Oils, Derivatives, Compounds, and / or Fragrances in food or beverage production • MUST: 10+ years of experience in a commercial function • MUST: At least 3 years in a senior leadership role.• MUST: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.• Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies acrossmultiple product categories.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.• Strong leadership and team management abilities.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
