Construction Project Director

About the Opportunity

At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dynamic Construction Project Director with an uncompromising commitment to safety and quality to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a job site near Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple EPCMV Project Teams’ day-to-day execution within the Central region
• Support EPCMV and CM services sales
• Lead construction project teams to deliver projects successfully - safely, on time, and on budget
• Guide project delivery teams in establishing goals and execution plans
• Monitor project performance and resolve issues
• Provide day-to-day direction of all project-specific operations
• Direct change management process
• Hire, train, and develop project delivery staff
• Develop new business and collaborate with senior leadership

About You

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 15+ years of experience in Project Delivery or a related discipline, including leadership positions. Experience managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.

Eligibility

Experience in other areas of life sciences including construction of pharmaceutical and biotech facilities.

Benefits

This position will have 25% travel or as required by the assigned project. Overnight travel or staying in the city of the client's location is possible depending on assignment. All interviews are conducted in person or virtually with video required.
