Position Summary: Convergint seeks an enthusiastic, results-driven, forward-thinking to join our fantastic culture. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, directing, application engineering, budgeting and procurement, and managing field installation, start-up, and close-out of assigned projects. Ensuring projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules and ensuring positive cash flow. In addition, the position is a key interface with the customer and is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects. >>>>Proficient English and French Language skills, both written and verbal, are a non-negotiable requirement!<<<< Job Responsibilities: Manages, oversees and coordinates all aspects of project delivery from conception through to completion. Supported the broader team with bid management, programme development, and control, including managing site-based teams and third-party suppliers.Financial control of projects, handling variation orders, payment application processes, and internal reporting.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, working collaboratively with the DC team.Proactively communicates project requirements to project team and broader organization as and when required and maintains accurate and up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records necessary for processing internal and external reports.Acts as our customers' best service provider at all times, ensuring Convergint Technologies is their first choice for service.Identifies potential project risks and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.Proactively communicates project schedules, project change proposals and related project activities regularly with stakeholders and customers, continuously looking to improve customer satisfaction.Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, services and controls necessary for timely and cost-effective project completion within budget.Establish project milestones and analyze costs. Utilize financial systems to review actual vs. estimated job costs and provide timely and accurate project cost reports. Identify reasons for low job site productivity and determine their impact on the project. Adjust or correct the project plan and/or cost estimates to meet financial goals.Manages the execution and review of all scope of work, terms and conditions in customer contracts, including cost control, delivery fulfilment, quality of service and other customer requirements as they arise.The manager may have direct reports and perform a limited range of managerial responsibilities, including mentoring, coaching, and developing colleagues. The manager also oversees the subcontractor selection process and work.Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Job Skills Requirements:Good project management experience in a technical environment, i.e. fire alarm systems and electronic security systems.Good coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation; Actively seek ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organizationGood team leadership, team building and facilitationShows initiative, engages in proactive behaviour and looks for opportunities with minimal supervisionVery adaptable and responds effectively to changes in situation or information; ability to influence others and build consensus using advanced written and verbal communication and presentation skillsGood analytical skills are necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions, and solid conflict-resolution skillGood financial analytical skills, including cost controlAbility to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team membersStrong Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills; solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutionBasic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principleSolid understanding of French construction processes and legislation.Education Requirements:Educated in Engineering/Managerial business NVQ or BTEC Level or related field or equivalent experienceProficient English and French Language skills, both written and verbal.Experience Requirements:Minimum of Two years of previous, relevant engineering, field service or project management experience preferredExperience with managing constriction works.Minimum of Two years of supervisory experience requiredCertifications & Licenses:Project Management Institute (PMI) certification is advantageous; industry-specific certifications and/or licenses are desired, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.Protective Clothing Required:The position may require using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, or work boots.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk, or hear and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. Occasionally, the colleague may be required to climb and work in high places, stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The position may also need work in confined spaces and exposure to different outdoor weather conditions. Electrical shock and/or general hazards are present in a construction environment.The colleague must occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds. The job requires specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, colour vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work Environment:The position is a hybrid-based role. It typically lasts 2-3 weeks per month or 2-3 days per week, and while there is some homework, frequent site attendance is more often required to manage site activities and fulfil the position requirements and client expectations.This will require a considered and structured approach, as well as the participation of other team members, who may be required to attend specific projects on rotation to comply with statutes and EU compliance requirements.**This role will require proficient written and verbal French and an understanding of French Constriction processes.The above statements reflect the general details describing the occupation's principal functions.
