Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Database Change Management
Job Details :
Role Name : Database Change ManagementRole Location : Dublin, Ireland/HybridRole Type : Contract
Job Description :
· Strong experience in Database Source Code Repository , Enterprise Integration, Automation & Delivery· Minimum experience: 5 years Database Source Code Management SME· You will already have industry experience in managing Database change management using tools. You will know how to control DDL/DML change across a number of parallel development streams as well as Production Support teams. You will be able to work independently and apply your previous experience to the various BoI applications which use principally Oracle on various UNIX platforms as well as SQL Server on Windows. Excellent communication skills. Experienced self-led individual with initiative and drive.
Key must have skillsets:1. Python2. Git / Bitbucket3. Oracle and/or SQL Server DBA4. PL/SQL development || at least strong knowledge of PLSQL management5. Experience with DDL/DML change management tools like TOAD, Redgate Flyway, Liquibase etc.
Additional useful skillsets: 1. Bitbucket automation2. Ansible3. AWS/Azure experience and appropriate qualifications4. Atlassian including JIRA, Bitbucket etc.5. Unix/Windows O/S experience6. Postgres, Mongo DB etc.7. Data governance using masking tools
Must have experience:
Hands on real world experience of implementing, database Code management solution at enterprise level. Implementation to have involved:
o Oracle DDL / DML code managemento Integration with Source Control systems, (ideally GIT)o Cater for parallel Database development streams in same repoo Encompass multiple repositorieso Solution to extend into automated deliveryo Clear understanding and definition of branching strategyo Liaison with multiple teams:o Developmento CI-CDo Databaseo Definition of required frameworks, source code management controls and standards
