Project Engineering Manager | Pharmaceutical Capital Project

ENG Bauen has a position available for a project manager to lead and oversee critical projects that contribute to the advancement of medical and healthcare solutions. You will have full oversight of the client-side team as well as the sub-contractors to deliver a multimillion-pound brownfield modification and expansion to an existing facility.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of this high-value pharmaceutical project, ensuring it’s delivered on time and under budget. This is an ideal role for an established project management professional to successfully deliver a cradle-to-grave multi-disciplinary engineering projects.

The Role:

* Lead and manage the delivery of projects to meet time, cost, quality, and scope requirements.
* Identify and evaluate all technical, commercial, and business risks; ensure the project team understands these risks and communicate any relevant risks to the client.
* Define and approve the Project Quality and Execution plan.
* Oversee the design, installation, and testing of processes, instruments, and equipment.
* Plan, design, and estimate time and costs for construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, systems, and components.
* Provide technical solutions for unexpected events during the life cycle of installations.

The Person:

* Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic, or Instrumentation.
* Extensive experience in project delivery within a CAPEX context in similar sectors such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology or FMCG.
* Proven experience in managing projects on operational client sites.
* Demonstrated leadership in managing and supporting team members, including performance appraisals, training, and talent development.
* Knowledge of industrial/lab safety and environment, and budget control principles and practices.
