About The Position
Black Shamrock is seeking an Insourcing Manager to organize internal communication on projects. This is a full-time position based in our Dublin office which involves working in an international environment.
As a part of the Production team, you will coordinate internal communication between Virtuos development teams involved on the project, at the crossroad between production and content management.
Responsibilities
Monitor, respond to and engage with points of contact in other Virtuos studios. Act as a “front desk”, centralizing content requests from the various project stakeholders. Ensure content requests follow a unified brief format that includes the necessary information, guidelines, and use context. Work closely with the Directors, Leads and Producers to assess priorities and keep these in sync with the fast-changing pace of the project. Keep track of content deliveries and make sure these comply with the project submission guidelines (file system architecture, naming conventions, etc.). Set up tools and processes to ensure art submissions don't endanger build performance and stability.
Qualifications
Great communication and organizational skills, especially when dealing with complex technical elements (E.g: Asset creation and integration pipelines). Excellent spoken and written English. At least 3 years of experience in project management or outsourcing in a technical industry. Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Capacity to organize, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
An educational background in Visual Arts or Project Management. Prior experience in the Video Games Industry. Previous experience working with North-American and/or Asian based companies.
