IT Project Manager- Salesforce

Our client, a multi-nation Automotive Distribution firm, are looking to recruit an experience IT project Manager to join their IT team. The IT Project Manager will be working together with key stakeholders to define project priorities and key milestones while effectively project managing to ensure effective task oversight and timely execution of the project delivery.

The firm is embarking on an exciting IT transformation journey, and you will play a vital role in getting us there.

The Role

Lead and manage Salesforce implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets and other key project management documentation.Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business, Suppliers, Business Analysts, Solution Architects and other key stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.Identify and mitigate and escalate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, to ensure effective communication and alignment among team members.

The Person

Min. 5 years proven experience managing complex IT projectsExperience in managing Salesforce projects essentialKnowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud beneficialRelevant 3rd level degree qualification and experienceUnderstanding of the tools and skills required to decompose projects into achievable tasks and goalsExperience working on a variety of project types such as Development, Infrastructure, Integration and RolloutsThe ability to work on own initiative demonstrating ownership and a can-do attitude is key.Excellent communication, written, verbal, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills.Strong organisation skills with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong commercial awareness with a high level of strategic thinkingAppropriate PM certifications such as PMP, Prince2Experience in Agile projects
