About The Role

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in Tate Europe's project management, serving as the linchpin that ensures seamless coordination and execution of tasks. Responsible for planning, organising, and implementing projects, the Project Coordinator collaborates closely with team members and stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and adherence to project timelines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to navigate diverse responsibilities, making the Project Coordinator a crucial contributor to the overall success of Tate's project team.

Additionally, the Project Coordinator is responsible for implementing process improvements within the projects team and identifying and introducing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and ensure sustained excellence in organisational workflows.

This role will require strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and expertise in coordinating activities using SAP. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth customer interactions, addressing issues promptly, and maintaining effective coordination within the manufacturing process. This role requires a high degree of internal liaison with departments to ensure stock availability, meeting delivery dates and working with our finance team to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end customer management, demonstrating initiative and ownership to yield the best possible results.
  • Working to critical dates, coordinating each contract with operations and production and notifying teams of any changes within
  • Collating reports, data and analysis on dispatch, stock availability, procurement and production
  • Acting as the point of contact for customer enquiries, orders, and concerns related to manufacturing products.

With strategic parts of the role consisting of:

  • Strategic Procurement looking at new suppliers
  • Long Term Forecasting
  • Power BI, margin Analysis, Contingency planning
  • Process Improvement
  • Supplier Engagement
  • Customer Complaint Analysis and Target Setting
  • Implementing Planning Tools & Techniques

The Project Coordinator will also spearhead the implementation of SOPs and root cause analysis with best practices, fostering a streamlined project environment; additionally, they will contribute to ongoing project work by facilitating seamless communication and coordination among team members.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education:

Degree qualification within a business or similar discipline.

Experience:

Solid and stable experience in a project administration / coordination role (a similar industry such as construction/manufacturing would be advantageous).

Skills:

  • A high level of initiative, forward thinking and prioritisation to navigate any changes.
  • Experience with SAP (or similar ERP system), EXCEL and forecasting.
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to navigate complex customer and stakeholder conversations.
