Project Coordinator (Electrical)(Traveling)

About the Opportunity

The Project Coordinator (Electrical) contributes to the overall success of CR Meyer and its heavy industrial customers through supporting the project team during the planning, budgeting, construction and post-construction project phases. This is a 100% traveling position, responsible for Electrical project management support at sites throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Manager and project team on estimating and executing electrical construction projects.
  • Assist in preparing bids for customers using general knowledge of electrical construction principles and design specifications.
  • Participate in implementing the CR Meyer Risk Control Plan for all projects and maintaining a safe job site.
  • Prepare budgets, schedules, POs, track labor hours, process expense sheets, and prepare invoicing.
  • Track and maintain subcontracts and vendor information.
  • Coordinate movement of equipment, tools, supplies, and resources needed for the job.
  • Track electrical productivity factors and document them for future reference.
  • Communicate effectively with project team, customers, on-site staff, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure construction projects stay within specifications, schedule, and budget through completion.
  • Implement Electrical QA/QC standards and procedures within CR Meyer guidelines.
  • Prepare required documents and project management updates using CR Meyer software.
  • Participate in project close-out meetings and document completed projects for future reference.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines, complete required training, and maintain regular attendance.
  • Complete all related reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

About You

  • Previous experience in the electrical construction industry required, preferably with an emphasis in large-scale civil/structural projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, and Primavera required.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with CR Meyer’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
