About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Project Director for our expanding business either based in Dublin or the UK. The Project Director will have overall responsibility for the management and onsite construction of major/complex contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tender Team consisting of Estimator, CM, QS, and other appropriate staff
  • Manage the production of the tender to ensure a competitive submission
  • Prepare programme, method statements, and submission documents
  • Chair start-up & internal meetings
  • Prepare preliminary Risk Register and mitigate/manage any risks
  • Manage employee resource plan
  • Chair Internal Team Meetings/attend and chair Subcontractor meetings
  • Co-ordinate the production of monthly CVR reports

About You

Experience: Typically 15 years’ experience in construction with similar national contracting organisations. In-depth understanding of the market, finance control/reporting ability, working knowledge of construction techniques, etc.

Eligibility

Academic and/or professional industry related management qualification, membership of an Industry related Professional Institution, relevant certifications like IOSH, CDM/PSCS Awareness, etc.
