An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Director to lead the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects within the building envelope and façade sector. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving project performance, operational excellence, safety, quality, and profitability while contributing to the overall business strategy.

The business has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and project delivery excellence and is seeking a strategic and commercially focused Project Director to join its senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and accountability for the successful delivery of multiple projects, ensuring objectives are achieved safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Contracts Managers and Site Management teams.
• Drive project profitability and oversee financial performance across all live projects.
• Develop and implement KPI frameworks to monitor performance in health & safety, quality, programme adherence, and commercial outcomes.
• Oversee project planning and construction programmes in collaboration with Design and Operations teams.

Eligibility

Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline preferred. Formal Project Management training is advantageous. Extensive relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.

Experience:
Minimum 10 years' experience in senior leadership roles within construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments. Proven track record delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget. Demonstrated experience within the building envelope and façade sector in Ireland and/or the UK.

Skills:
Strong understanding of modern construction methods and project delivery processes. Extensive knowledge of construction contracts, construction law, and dispute resolution. Excellent leadership, coaching, team development, and stakeholder management skills. Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project profitability and cashflow. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and project reporting systems. Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Full driving licence. Managing Safely in Construction certification or equivalent.
