About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Project Director for our expanding business based in Dublin, UK, and Europe.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Tender Team consisting of Estimator, CM, QS, other appropriate staff, and external consultants as necessary
- Manage the production of the tender to ensure a competitive submission
- Prepare the programme, method statements, prelims, and submission document
- Chair start-up & internal meetings, prepare procurement strategy with the QS
- Prepare a preliminary Risk Register and mitigate/manage risks
- Work with the SQS to prepare a prelim procurement schedule and track the same
About You
Typically 15 years’ experience in construction with similar national contracting organizations. In-depth understanding of the market, proven finance control/reporting ability, working knowledge of Construction techniques, Design techniques & BIM modeling, comprehensive knowledge of Building and Health and Safety/Fire regulations, familiarity with complex projects.
Eligibility
- Academic and/or professional industry related management qualification
- Membership of an Industry related Professional Institution such as MCIOB or CEng MICE
- CVRs, PEP and Contract Management
- IOSH for Directors, CDM/PSCS Awareness, BBS, Root Cause Analysis & S5 & Q10 internal workshops
