About the Company

We are helping our client, an international infrastructure group specializing in water, wastewater, energy, natural gas, and civil engineering projects, identify a Project Director for its operations in Togo. The company develops, builds, operates, and maintains critical infrastructure systems for municipalities, utilities, industrial organizations, and government entities across international markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall management of infrastructure projects from planning through execution and delivery.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, resource allocation, and operational performance.
  • Build, lead, and manage local project teams.
  • Serve as the primary company representative with local authorities, partners, suppliers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and project requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Report regularly to headquarters on project performance, risks, milestones, and operational developments.
  • Support the establishment and expansion of strategic relationships with public and private sector stakeholders.
  • Ensure implementation of company policies, procedures, and governance standards across project operations.

Requirements

  • MUST: Minimum 5 years of experience managing infrastructure, energy, water, or utility projects.
  • MUST: Experience in project leadership roles involving multi-stakeholder infrastructure initiatives.
  • MUST: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Energy, or a related discipline).
  • MUST: Professional proficiency in English, French, and Hebrew.
  • MUST: Availability and commitment to a rotational schedule (2 months in Togo / 2 weeks at home base).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary operational and technical teams.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and project delivery activities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in remote project environments and dynamic field conditions.
