Project Manager

Galetech Sustainable Living (GSL), part of the Galetech Group, is one of the leading renewable energy services and development companies in Ireland.

GSL is a residential project developer in Cavan and surrounding regions. We develop projects from site identification, planning and development to construction and delivery to end customers with a particular focus on town regeneration schemes.

In line with the Group's innovation and sustainability ethos, we are actively pursuing low carbon timber-based build to a passive standard while maximising the use of offsite construction methods.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for managing projects once permitted through pre-construction and construction phases. This will involve managing the activities of the professional design team, liaising with project stakeholders, tender process and construction to deliver project safety, on time and within budget.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be

A construction professional with experience in the residential construction sector.

Highly self-motivated, organised, have the ability to problem-solve and deliver projects to deadlines whilst working in a dynamic environment, both as part of a team and on their own initiative.

Third Level Qualification in engineering/construction related discipline essentialMinimum of 5 years construction experienceExcellent communication, writing and interpersonal skillsStrong project management skillsExcellent team-working abilityStrong computer and technical skills Willingness to travel domestically Organised, thorough and diligentAbility to perform under pressureFull clean drivers licence

Beneficial

Knowledge of RIAI (or similar) construction contractsExperience in residential building projects through the project delivery cycleKnowledge of CAD Knowledge of building regulationsKnowledge of passive and low carbon build methodsProject and contract management qualification
