About the Opportunity
Project Manager – Banking
Location: Dublin – Hybrid (3 days on-site)
Contract Length: 6 months initially
Rate: Competitive day rate (DOE)
IT Search are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a day-rate contract role with a major banking client based in Dublin. This is an initial 6-month engagement with a strong likelihood of extension. The role follows a hybrid model, requiring 3 days on-site per week.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technology and business change projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and financials across a portfolio of complex initiatives.
- Work across a variety of domains including application development, systems integration, process reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for technology delivery, acting as a trusted liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Collaborate closely with Change Management and Business Stakeholders, ensuring smooth delivery and transition.
- Ensure governance and compliance with methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PMP), documentation standards, and internal controls.
- Drive regular status reporting and facilitate governance forums, producing clear and concise communications for senior leadership.
Eligibility
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in end-to-end project management across technology and/or change projects.
- Strong track record of delivering results in regulated environments, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Proven experience managing project budgets, risk frameworks, and stakeholder communications at all levels.
- Experience working in Agile environments; Agile certification is essential (Scrum Master or RTE).
- Familiarity with SAFe methodology highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
