About Your New JobWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Project Manager to oversee and manage the delivery of high-quality residential construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from inception through to completion, managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.As the Residential Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating all aspects of the construction process, liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers, and ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of residential construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project handover.Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are tracked and controlled throughout the project lifecycle.Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring that deadlines are met and the project progresses smoothly.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project.Oversee the procurement of materials and the management of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of services.Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations, and that a safe working environment is maintained at all times.Maintain high standards of quality control on-site, ensuring all work complies with project specifications and building codes.Proactively identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, minimizing delays and ensuring project success.Lead and motivate on-site teams, ensuring effective communication and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
What Skills You NeedProven experience as a Project Manager or Site Manager on residential construction projects.Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, building regulations, and best practices.Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contracts effectively.Strong understanding of quality control, site safety, and project delivery.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle competing priorities.A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.CSCS card or equivalent, and other relevant industry certifications.Experience in delivering luxury or custom-built residential properties is a plus.
