Senior Project Engineer Medical Devices Product Development

About The Company

We are currently working with a specialist engineering company who develop, design and manufacture products for the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry. They design products that aid people in managing long term illnesses.

About The Position

This is a long term contract role.

Working as an essential part of the R&D team the Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, development of high-end product development programs, including product development. You will work closely with clients on what is required from a design stage right through to deliver, commissioning and manufacturing.

Within the role you will be involved in

Manage projects related to product development for the med device sector.The Project Engineer works at the interface of multiple stakeholders and will serve as a liaison between business leadership, functional management, and individual project leaders.Drive project prioritization utilizing appropriate model / methodology and get consensus across functions to focus on projects that create value for the Business.Reports on the progress of projects with an agreed frequency on quality, status, time, and costs to senior management.Work with managers from different functions to ensure allocation of resources and discretionary spending is sufficient to achieve target completion dates.Work with individual project team members to ensure appropriate planning and rigor is maintained to ensure success of these projects.

Experience/Requirements

For this role you are required to have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering3-5 years of experience in product design in the medical device industry.Experience in full life cycle project managementStrong organisational and documentation skills.

Remuneration Package

This is a long-term contract role and rates will be dependent on experience.
