Job Overview: The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various projects within CET Connect. This role involves managing project schedules, resources, and manpower to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining communication with the Senior Management Team and ensuring that project goals align with the organization’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Project Planning and Coordination:Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring clear communication.Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
Team Management:Supervise project team members, providing guidance, support, and feedback.Assign tasks and responsibilities as required, ensuring that all roles are clearly defined.Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Resource Management:Manage project resources (personnel, equipment/materials) through weekly forecasting.Ensure that all necessary resources are available and utilized efficiently.Identify any resource-related constraints. Allocate project lead and relevant manpower.
Risk Management:Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.Communicate risks and mitigation plans to the senior leadership team as required.
Stakeholder Communication:Maintain regular communication with project managers, clients and senior management.Provide regular project updates and reports. Submit RFI’s as required.Be the point of contact with the client’s site representative from project inception to end.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.Implement quality control processes and conduct regular quality reviews.
Health and Safety:Manage health and safety requirements and liase with health and safety team as required.Ensure all security procedures are adhered to. Escalate issues to health and safety manager.
Budget Management:Monitor project budgets and ensure that projects remain within financial limits.Track and report project expenses and budget status. Identify and address any issues.
Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skills.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, Word).Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of industry standards and best practices.Ability to understand cut sheets and drawingsPrevious experience within the live data hall environment and knowledge of fibre optic cabling
Working conditions:Positions available, at our Dublin office and on sites across Europe.Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines.Travel in and out of Ireland is a requirement of this position.Must hold valid EU Passport and own transport is a requirement of this role.
