About the Opportunity

This is an opportunity to work with an Ashoka Fellow.

Ashoka Fellows are leading social entrepreneurs that have been taken through a rigorous selection process, testing the quality of their ideas and character, to become part of the Ashoka Fellowship and Network. Ashoka Fellows take on the challenges of building innovative system change ideas to make and spread social impact in a world wrought with challenges. Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage projects end to end, including scope, timeline, milestones, risks, and owners.
  • Coordinate internal teams and volunteers.
  • Align priorities, assign tasks, and run weekly follow ups.
  • Manage partner communications.
  • Prepare agendas, meeting notes, decisions, and next steps.
  • Track progress through KPIs.
  • Report status, blockers, and decisions needed.
  • Ensure deliverable quality.
  • Maintain documentation standards and alignment with goals.
  • Support basic budget and resource tracking.
  • Flag needs and constraints early.
  • Standardize project operations.
  • Build templates, dashboards, and repeatable workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Capture lessons learned and optimize execution.

About You

You will translate strategy into clear plans, keep delivery on track, and coordinate cross functional teams to hit milestones on time. You will work with stakeholders in the creative economy, including MSMEs, artisans, designers, universities, brands, and multilateral organizations. Your focus is to deliver measurable outcomes in sustainability, traceability, and local value chain development.

Eligibility

Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong command of project tools such as Notion, Trello, Asana, or similar. Clear communication skills for meetings, alignment, and documentation. Strong prioritization and problem solving to remove blockers fast. Interest or experience in sustainability, creative economy, or value chain work. Intermediate to advanced English for international coordination, if required.
